Once the purchase is made 75 days in advance of the date of shipment (and up to 4 days before), it is now possible to enter your reservation online, through the website, in the " Planning Center " on the right :

=> Check in online, and the sooner the better, to choose your boarding time. It is a good idea to choose the first times to embark soon, to have lunch and discover the ship. On the first day, all areas are open so you can visit them (Kids Club, Adult areas, Teen). Then they close and it is no longer possible to enter and see without being enrolled.

To check in, you will choose the schedule, it will include the documents of all who are going to travel and will choose a form of payment on board (credit card or cash).

All this information can be modified or included after you have total freedom. Before embarking, however, everything needs to be filled out and you should print your "boarding agreement" and sign it to submit to check in.

=> Enroll children ages 3-12 at the Oceaneer Club / Lab Kids Club. The children should already be unfurling and you will indicate the people who are authorized to pick them up.

=> Reserve some adult dinner at Palo (Italian) or Remy (French), some SPA massage and activities on the scales. All this can be reserved later when you organize yourself better. But know that the later, the more you run the risk of not getting the schedules any day you want. 

In your calendar, you should also see the events that happen on the ship (ship activities) with schedules and days, such as the Party of departure and the Pirate Party. You can do your schedule taking into account the schedules of these activities. It would be a shame to have dinner at the Pirate's party, for example! 

Once again, everything can be modified or canceled up to 3 days before boarding if you change your mind. But be warned: if you do not cancel, the tours are considered definitive and will be charged. Within this period, the dinners and treatments at the SPA can only be canceled on board and there may be fine. If dinner is not canceled until 2 pm on the day of booking, it will be charged. 

Each time you book something, you will be registered in your online reservation and you will receive a confirmation email with day and time.

Is it worth to close the walks on the scales through the ship's website or is it best to do it independently? This is a private matter. In the Ports, there are always several agencies and taxi drivers who propose tours. If you feel safe, you already know the place and you know what you want to do and where to go, you can take the risk and you will surely pay it cheaper.

 If you do not know, it is best to close through the ship. They are outside companies and the ship is not responsible for providing the service, but of course, they are accustomed to working together, so schedules and details are more organized. And there is an important question: when the tour is closed through the ship, this one waits for you if you have any delay. Already, if you are in the independent tour and it is time to leave, The ship can leave and leave you behind with all the headache of the situation! 

As a result, another tip: be guided by the time of your clock set in the ship's schedules. And not by the time of your cell phone, for example, which certainly comes automatically at the time of the scale, which may have some spindle (1h more or less in relation to the ship)!

In Port Canaveral

=> You can arrive from Orlando directly from the International Airport with the Magical Express. In that case, go to the Disney Bus Terminal on Side B, 1st floor. From there it is approximately 60 min and costs $ 69 / person round trip. 

=> You can reach Orlando directly from the Disney Resorts with Magical Express. In this case, check the time in the Hotel and from there are approximately 90 mn, counting with traffic and stop at other hotels. It costs $ 35 / person/stretch and on the back, you can check back to the hotels, parks or directly to the Airport.

=> You can get a rental car in Orlando or elsewhere. You can return the car in one of the rental companies of Porto: Budget, Hertz, Avis, Thrifty, Dollar or Alamo. All have free transportation from the agencies to Oporto. But depending on the weather, it is best to take a taxi: around $ 10.

Or, you can leave the car parked (in our case, for example, we will leave it parked, since 1-week rental is costing the same price as 3 days!). In Porto's official parking, rates are based on the number of nights. For a 4 night cruise, it costs $ 75. Note that Port Canaveral has partnered with 20 hotels and if you stay in one of them, they offer a 40% discount on parking. But do not book online: this discount can only be used after your stay at the hotel. At check out, ask for their discount voucher to use in the parking lot. 

Another option of parking more in account: the Park Port Canaveral, the nearest parking lot.

The Comfort Suites Miami Airport North has a free shuttle from the Airport and also to the Port of Miami.

=> Decorate for the door! Yes, it is a fact: families decorate their doors with names, dolls, ears ... A good opportunity to put the creativity of the family to function and make art together! We have already been preparing some things with eva gum and we are going to buy double-sided magnetic tape in the USA (I did not find it here). The doors are metal and Disney does not accept tapes or crepe. It has to be magnetic paper, with a magnet.

=> Buy or prepare a pirate costume! There's always a Pirate party on board and everyone fantasizes about sailors, sailors, Captain Hook, Jake, his sister Stormy, Jack Sparrow.

As I was at Disney recently, I bought some accessories at the Pirates of the Caribbean toy store on the Magic Kingdom. But arriving in the US, we'll hop in a Party City store. Or you can see on Amazon too, there are many models! 

If you forget and do not have fancy, no problem: they leave a bandana for each one in the cabin.

=> Prepare remembrance for the characters to sign. I saw this in some American posts and I liked the idea! We're going to buy plain frames at Party City or Michaels, we already have the Sharpie pens, and we'll put that all in a Ziploc bag and leave it at the Guest Service. Each booth has the right to leave 2 items to be signed by the characters (Mickey's or Princess's class). 

This allows you to sign them all at once, so you worry less if you miss an encounter with one of them and the object becomes a good memory of the cruise. There are those who bring mugs, white shirts, pillow cases in which they have children's name embroidered ... just make sure the pens are suitable for each type of material! This can not come out in the first wash!
