With a awesome movie trailer, Simran is an upcoming Indian Bollywood drama film. It is written by Apurva Asrani and directed by Hansal Mehta which features Kangana Ranaut in the lead role. The movie is loosely based on life of Sandeep Kaur. Production had started principal photography commenced on October 2016 at Atlanta, United States. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 15 September 2017 by T-Series.



In Simran, Kangana Ranaut plays a kleptomaniac and gambler who lives life to the fullest. Who is a Gujarati woman who lives in New York and is a divorcee but nothing stops her from flirting with guys as she proudly says that to woo a man is “not a character flaw, but an art. She has a poetic side too. In fact, Simran’s trailer starts with some phrases where she compares freedom with butterflies and sun’s rays.



The two-and-a-half minute trailer takes us through the various phases of Praful's life. That shows us she is a shoplifter and addicted to gambling. However, she knows how to live her life to the fullest and confidently tries to woo men with her cheesy one-liners. At the end of the trailer, we saw on a robbery spree with cops chasing her. The guy she is in love with leaves her but yet she's smiling.
