My Cousin Rachel is an upcoming Hollywood film in the year 2017. The story or the film was written by Roger Michell also directed by him.
It is based on a novel of the same name by Daphne du Maurier published in 1951.
It stars Rachel Weisz, Holliday Grainger, Iain Glen and Sam Claflin. The film
is in the theater on June 9, 2017, by Fox Searchlight Pictures.
Philip is a young Englishman plots revenge against his
mysterious, beautiful cousin, believing that she murdered his guardian. But everything
becomes complicated as he finds himself falling under the beguiling spell of
her charms.
As Philip prepares for his vengeance, he falls little by
little under the spell of his cousin. While trying to deny it and cover the
truth, it begins to suspect that in fact, she is the culprit of the death of
Ambrose, another common cousin of both.
Roger Michell ( Venus ) directs this adaptation of the novel
of a gothic romance of Daphne Du Maurier. It will star Rachel Weisz ( The Youth
