The 30 years woman is a single mother and the attack is witnessed by her daughter whose authenticity is attacked at the subsequent trial. Vengeance opens by showing us the questionable judgement of Detective John Dromoor as a bust goes terribly wrong.  Drinking away his troubles, Dromoor meets Teena in the bar.  She’s introduced as a single mom who is a bit too flirtatious and easy with strangers.


 

On the Fourth of July, single mother Teena brutally assaulted by a local gang in front of her 12-year-old daughter Bethie. Despite Bethie able to identify the attackers. But the defense hires a local hot-shot defense attorney who manipulates the law to their advantage. When the criminals are set free, detective John Dromoor is dismayed by the lack of justice and revenge against the men.
