All the Money in the World is an upcoming crime drama film has an excellent movie trailer. The movie was directed by Ridley Scott and written by David Scarpa. The tale inspired the 1980 novel Man on Fire by Philip Nicholson. Its cast stars Michelle Williams, Kevin Spacey, Mark Wahlberg, Romain Duris, Charlie Plummer and Timothy Hutton. The film is based on the historical events surrounding the kidnapping of John Paul Getty III. It is scheduled will be released December 8, 2017, by Sony Pictures.

The film follows the biographical account from the early 1970s of the sustained refusal of J. Paul Getty to cooperate with the extortion demands of a group of kidnappers, from the organized crime group ‘Ndrangheta.

Getty was also agitated, having negotiated the ransom for the kidnapping of his grandson John Paul Getty III. The younger man was held captive by Italian gangsters for many months in 1973 and only released after the elder Getty agreed to pay the ransom of around $3 million by loaning it to his son with 4% interest.
