The movie based on the bestselling 2011 young adult novel by Brian Selznick,  who adapted the novel into a screenplay. The film cast stars Julianne Moore, Oakes Fegley, Cory Michael Smith, Michelle Williams, Millicent Simmonds,  Damian Young, James Urbaniak,  Patrick Murney and Lauren Ridloff. Wonderstruck stories of two children across the span of 50 years. Benlives with his family in Minnesota in 1977 and escapes to New York in search of his father. In the earlier time period, Rose , a young girl runs away from her New Jersey home, escapes to New York to find her favorite idol film actress Lillian Mayhew. In the later time frame, after his mother's death Ben also runs away to search for his missing father in New York.
