The Gracefield Incident | Movie Trailer Review 2017

The Gracefield Incident is the upcoming movie 2017. The story of this movie about Matthew Donovan, a video game publisher, integrates an iPhone camera into his prosthetic eye to secretly record a weekend with friends in a mountain cottage.

The weekend takes a terrifying turn when a meteor crashes, forcing everyone to face the terrifying extraterrestrial nightmare.

The director of The Gracefield Incident wanted to try something, and they say why not, but to present themselves as the savior of the found footage with a technique that looks even worse than the previous one, no. It may be very good if used well, but here it does not seem to be the case.

Many films - and mainly horror - are made in found footage. And often they are bad. Why ? Already the overexploitation of the technique. But also because it is often done badly and we believe more. When the protagonist is threatened and filmed, without escaping, the viewer who does not leave the film or does not realize the stupidity of the thing is rare - fortunately.

And this is where Mathieu Ratthe ( Lovefield, The Talisman ) arrives, the screenwriter and director of The Gracefield Incident, a film whose trailer you can see just below, with its revolutionary idea to make found footage coherent And good again! Instead of holding the camera, it will be directly in the eye of the protagonist! What a wonderful idea! The cinema of horror is saved!
