THE MOUNTAIN BETWEEN US is an upcoming Hollywood movie 2017 directed by Hany Abu-Assad. The story is written by Chris Weitz and J.Mills Goodloe, based on a novel. The novel is written by Charles Martin with the same name. The star cast is Idris Elba as a surgeon and Kate Winslet as a journalist. They face the same critical situation due to a plane crash and stuck on the top of an unknown mountain. The film comes in the theater on 20th October 2017 in the United States.

Synopsis 

Alex Martin (Kate Winslet), a photojournalist and Dr. Ben Payne(Idris Elba), a surgeon meet at the airport. They both are facing the same condition of delay of flight due to bad weather conditions. Then Alex Martin who was engaged to be married asks Dr. Ben to join her for a private take off. They manage a pilot of a charter flight to take off with them. However, they start their journey with that pilot and pilot informed that this is the full of the mountain area.

They happily pass the mountain taking lots of photos and enjoy gossiping about their personal life story. But suddenly a mechanical error occurred to the plan and pilot declared that they are falling. This could be their last moment on the planet they realize. But after the crashes, they survive with injuries but can’t get any direction about where they are.

The weather was so frizzy on the top of the mountain. They decide to take a walk to find the locality but they don’t know any idea about the way of wild nature is waiting for them. But they believe that their luck will support them to pass through hundreds of kilometers of adverse nature.
