THE BEGUILED is an upcoming Hollywood movie 2017. This movie
is directed by Sofia Coppola. The story of this movie is all about the
irruption of sexual desire, and the corruption of this fallacious Puritan
universe that counts most - somewhere, Les Proies would be a version of the
costume of The Neon Demon, with the same Elle Fanning friponne . Collected by a
young girl at the boarding school, Corporal McBurney, whose Yankee position and
deserter status did not preserve integrity in the eyes of the institution, soon
became the seat of all fantasies.
As a consequence of the physical and
psychological isolation inherent in the institution, young girls and women
abruptly abandon virtue in favor of a perverse seduction game. Frivolity to
which the soldier lends himself willingly, also crushed by concupiscence -
framed carefully, His putrid pulp under the gaze of Miss Martha appealed in any
case to this transgression. To illustrate the interior moral struggle of the
hostesses, the filmmaker superimposed smoldering scrolls on the horizon. This
poetry of a vitiated nature, contaminated, corresponds for her to a return to
the sources: Virgin Suicides approached in many respects the same subject, with
the difference that the suicide presided then the acceptance of a fight against
prudishness.
Very pictorial without falling into contemplative excess, the
vaporous planes mask the whole atmosphere of an enigmatic veil. Eroticism here
hides behind corsets and false modesty. Then who of the corporal lecher, a
symbolical victim of castration, or young women torn by an avidity too long
repressed, must be considered guilty? If Siegel counterbalanced to some extent
a latent misogyny by an unsympathetic Clint Eastwood, his female characters
also wanted to be more clever. In particular, the director said that he wanted
to portray "women capable of deceit, fraud, murder, everything."
Behind their mask of innocence is as much villainy as you might find in a
member of the Mafia. " Nor does Manichaeism find any more perspective in
Sofia Coppola, who looks almost affectionately on everyone and refuses to sue
anyone. A good thing. It's a pity, however, that Les Preis does not renew the
ambiguities of the original film, which is far more disturbing and poisonous.
