With a funny
movie trailer, CHIPS is a American action comedy buddy policeman film written
and directed by Dax Shepard, based on the 1977-1983 TV series of the same name
created by Rick Rosner. The film was released on March 24, 2017 by Warner Bros.
Jon Baker
and Frank "Ponch" Poncherello have just added the California Highway
Patrol in Los Angeles, but for very several reasons. Baker is a former motorcycle
rider who's trying to put his life and wedding back together. Poncherello is a
cocky, secret FBI agent who's inquiring a multimillion dollar heist that may be
an inside job. Forced to work with another, the inexperienced rookie and
hardened veteran start clashing instead of clicking while trying to arrest the
bad guys.
